There was a surprise result when ninth ranked DutchGroningen (10-6) rolled over at home higher ranked Belgian House of Talents (12-6) 105-84 on Saturday. Groningen outrebounded Kortrijk 38-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. Groningen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kortrijk 's players. Danish forward Dane Erikstrup (208-2003, college: WSU) notched 30 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Austin Luke (191-1994, college: Belmont) supported him with 18 points and 8 assists. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds by Jarne Lesuisse (190-2000) did not help to save the game for Kortrijk . Guard Noel Coleman (188-2000, college: Hawaii) added 18 points. Five Groningen and four Kortrijk players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Groningen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 10-6 record. Loser House of Talents dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Den Bosch and ZZ Leiden.
